The New York Comic Con 2025 panel was also joined by director Tatsuyuki Nagai, as celebrations for the 10th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans kicked off. Kyle McCarley, the English voice actor for Mikazuki Augus, and Yoshimasa Hosoya, the Japanese voice actor for Orga Itsuka, were present at the panel to revisit the series’ global impact and share personal stories by the cast and staff. There were also behind-the-scenes discussions on the creation of Gundam Barbatos and the evolution of Augus’ character.

McCarley also called on the audience about their favorite Gundam film elements, with cheers from each prompt.

“What does everybody like most about Gundam? Is it the giant robots? Is it the politics? Is it the love triangles? Is it all of the above and more!”

After the Iron-Blooded Orphans segment, the panel shifted its focus to Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway – The Sorcery of Nymph Circe. Hathaway Noa English voice actor Caleb Yen took to the stage as the panel unveiled new trailer footage and key visuals for the upcoming film, which drew cheers from the audience. There was also a first look into updated character models and the creative vision of the film. Yen also commented on his role.

The panel concluded with teases of new releases, merchandise, fan experiences, and upcoming projects, including interactive Gunpla workshops and the Gundam Base pop-up at the American Dream Mall. A final group photo with all panelists, including Nagai, Hosoya, and McCarley, marked the end of the panel.
