A new promotional video for The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior Season 2 confirms the anime will premiere in April 2026. New staff members and a new key visual for The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen Season 2 were also revealed.

Norio Nitta directs the new season at OLM Team Yoshioka. Deko Akao is in charge of the series scripts, and Hitomi Kōno returns as the character designer. Hanae Nakamura, Tatsuhiko Saiki, Kanade Sakuma, Junko Nakajima, Misaki Tsuchida, Tsugumi Tanaka and Kaho Sawada are the music composers.

The first season of The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen premiered in July 2023. Additionally, Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime, which was streamed on HIDIVE as it aired in Japan. Sentai Filmworks also released the anime on Blu-ray in October 2024.

Tenichi began serializing the original story in the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in April 2018. The series is still ongoing, with Ichijinsha publishing the story in print with illustrations from Suzunosuke. Akiko Kawano’s ongoing manga adaptation began in June 2023 in Ichijinsha’s Monthly Comic Zero-Sum magazine.

Lastly, Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the light novel and manga series, describing it as follows:
