During Tokyo Game Show 2025, SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio released a new trailer for Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O World Stage, dubbed “Enter the World Stage.” What’s more, an open beta test for Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O World Stage will be held from October 1 to 6.
Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O World Stage launches first on October 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O World Stage launches this winter. The game features the new World Stage mode, the new DLC character Dural, cross-play across all platforms, rollback netcode, and more.
In the new World Stage mode, Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O World Stage players fight famous real-life players as CPUs in battle. Fight your way through these challenges in Quest Mode-inspired fashion to become the greatest fighter.
All Virtua Fighter 5 R.E.V.O players on Steam will receive the upgraded edition at no additional cost. On PlayStation 5, Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown players may purchase the new edition for a discounted price of $9.99 (MSRP: $19.99) with DLC carrying over. Pre-orders are available now on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with a SEGA Genesis character customization item as a bonus.
