2K Games and Gearbox Software revealed the Borderlands 4 DLC Vault Hunter C4SH will launch in Q1 2026 alongside the new Story Pack 1: Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned. C4SH is the first of various DLC Vault Hunters that will be introduced in the game next year, and players with the Super Deluxe Edition and/or Vault Hunter Pack
Players can expect new main story missions, a new map zone, new legendary gear and cosmetics, and much more with the Story Pack 1: Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned DLC. More details about Borderlands 4 Story Pack 1 and C4SH will be revealed “in the coming months, according to the game’s official X (formerly Twitter) account.
Previously, Gearbox revealed the Borderlands 4 post-launch roadmap. Players can expect the return of Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode in Borderlands 4 along with free updates and paid DLC, including two new Vault Hunters, all-new regions of Kairos, new story missions, side missions, challenges, enemies, and more endgame content.
Borderlands 4 launched first on September 12 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch 2 version was planned for release on October 3, but Gearbox Software delayed the release for “additional development and polish time,” and all digital pre-orders in the Nintendo eShop to date have been canceled.
