Netmarble and developer Netmarble Monster announced monster-taming action RPG MONGIL: STAR DIVE is coming to PlayStation 5 alongside the Android, iOS, and PC (Windows and Epic Games Store) versions. The PlayStation 5 version of MONGIL: STAR DIVE is playable across 12 of 24 demo stations at Tokyo Game Show 2025, which runs from September 25 to 28 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
Recruitment is now open for the second MONGIL: STAR DIVE closed beta test. Players can register for the second closed beta test at the game’s official website, and the test will be held from September 30 to October 10 on PC via the Netmarble Launcher and Epic Games Store.
The MONGIL: STAR DIVE second closed beta test will feature Episode 2 of the main story, new playable character Daisy, the new Monsterling Link Chain system. With Monsterling Link Chain, Monsterlings evolve beyond simple equipment and gain effects such as skill activation. There will also be new Monsterling-based minigames, new dungeons, over 30 new Monsterlings, and a new raid boss “Amon.”
Global pre-registration for MONGIL: STAR DIVE is also open with rewards like 4-star character Francis. Additional rewards, including Compass of Promise ×10, will be given to players who pre-register via the App Store or Google Play. There’s also an ongoing pre-registration campaign on social media, allowing players to earn Compass of Promise and various growth materials when the game’s official social channels reach 100,000, 300,000, and 500,000 followers. At 500,000 followers, all players will earn a Mollumander Monsterling.
