Konami has announced that the new Fox Hunt online mode for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will launch with a new update on October 29. Fox Hunt offers the “camouflage and hide-and-go-seek” gameplay that players expect, with some unique elements to Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater.
The game’s official website offers the following new details about Fox Hunt:
A thrilling hide-and-seek based, completely original online multiplayer
An online experience unique to Metal Gear that utilizes the central elements of the base game – camouflage and survival.
Based on the Sneaking rule from METAL GEAR ONLINE
Utilizes the fundamentals of one of the popular game rules from METAL GEAR ONLINE and the sneaking gameplay elements iconic to the METAL GEAR series, and the latest graphical enhancements that amplifies the tension of hide-and-seek to a whole new level.
Realistic camouflage enhanced by cutting-edge graphics that fools the naked eye.
AT-Camo
- An All-Terrain camouflage suit capable of deploying and retracting instantaneously.
- Pre-equipped from the start, players can change to any pattern on the spot.
- Useful for any situation, whether you need to escape, ambush, evade, or infiltrate discretely.
Progressively detect and pinpoint threats in your vicinity with a unique search technique
Naked Sense
- Sharpens your senses to search your surroundings for enemies and supplies.
- Activating it over a long period of time could be risky as it will drain the player’s stamina.
- An alert will show when a nearby player activates it. Swiftly hide to avoid detection.
Only those who show total mastery as both a soldier and field agent will survive.
Hone your skills in combat and infiltration. Utilize the weapons and gear procured on-site and outlast the other cadets in survival-style training missions to prove who is best suited to serve the FOX Unit.
Your mission: survive until the end
- A multiplayer PvP where you team up in pairs and play with up to 12 players.
- Fight to survive in 3 types of fields, including the jungle. 2 types of mission rules are available, selected at random for every match.
- Those who failed to complete the objective during each phase will be removed from the mission.
