The official website for the TV light anime adaptation of Yoroida’s #Kanagawa ni Sunderu Elves (Kanagawa Elves) manga series has revealed the anime’s first teaser trailer, key visual, cast, and staff. Kanagawa Elves will premiere in December 2025 during TV Kanagawa’s (tvk’s) local midday news and variety program Neko no Hitai Hodo Wide.
Chiaki Kobayashi voices the protagonist “Elf from Yokohama” and Yuu Hayashi voices “the Human from Kawasaki.” Both of the voice actors hail from Kanagawa Prefecture, with Kobayashi from Yokohama city and Hayashi from Zama city.
Yūji Umoto directs the light anime series at IMAGICA Infos and Imageworks Studio. Taeko Miura is the sound director, Shin Kawamoto is the music composer, and Kazuya Takahashi is the production supervisor. What’s more, Usagiou is credited for animation production assistance.
Yoroida launched the Kanagawa Elves manga series on Comic Elmo in August 2020. Micro Magazine published the manga series’ first compiled book volume in 2021. The fifth volume on March 10.
A live-action adaptation of Kanagawa Elves will premiere on September 30, and it will air during the Neko no Hitai Hodo Wide news and variety program, just like the anime.
