Netmarble announced free-to-play open-world action RPG The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin and monster-taming action RPG MONGIL: STAR DIVE will be exhibited at Tokyo Game Show 2025, which runs from September 25 to 28 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. Both games will be showcased with hands-on demos and special events.
At Tokyo Game Show 2025, The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin will be playable in Japan for the first time. The demo offers glimpses into the story mode for immersive narrative gameplay, an open-world mode in the setting of Britannia, and a boss time-attack featuring demons from the original anime and manga series.
After its appearances at Gamescom 2025, MONGIL: STAR DIVE heads to Japan for the first time at Tokyo Game Show 2025. The playable build of MONGIL: STAR DIVE lets players embark on an adventure with protagonists Cloud, Verna, and Nyanners. The demo offers a sneak peek at the game’s monster-taming mechanics, along with additional characters like Ophelia and Francis.
Moreover, Netmarble announced partnerships with Google, Samsung, Sony Interactive Entertainment, and Thirdwave to showcase The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin and MONGIL: STAR DIVE on the show floor. There will be 52 demo stations, including some featuring Thirdwave’s Galleria PC brand and Samsung’s new Odyssey 3D (G90XF model).
MONGIL: STAR DIVE is coming to Android, iOS, and PC in the second half of 2025. During the G-STAR 2024 event in Busan, South Korea, Final Weapon had the opportunity to interview MONGIL: STAR DIVE project director MinKyun Kim and business team manager DaHaeng Lee to learn more about the upcoming action RPG.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin launches in late 2025 for PlayStation 5, Android, iOS, and PC via Steam as a sequel to The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross. Pre-registration is open at the official website.
