2025’s 41st Weekly Shonen Jump issue revealed that the new Mojuro / Modulo manga by Jujutsu Kaisen manga creator Gege Akutami and Cipher Academy manga illustrator Yuji Iwasaki is a spinoff of Jujutsu Kaisen.
Jujutsu Kaisen – Mojuro is a fixed short-term manga that will be roughly three volumes long and serialized for half a year “as long as the manga is not canceled,” according to Akutami. The first chapter of Mojuro is 54 pages long with a color opening page, and it’s available in English on VIZ Media and Manga Plus as Jujutsu Kaisen – Modulo.
What’s more, several projects for the Jujutsu Kaisen franchise were announced. Firstly, horror novelist Yumeaki Hirayama is penning a new spinoff novel. An exhibition for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 will be held at Ikebukuro Sunshine City in Tokyo from December 5-29, and a “Juju Fes” event will be held in 2026. Moreover, Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade will get a new original story on September 23.
The Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution compilation film is coming to theaters in North America on December 5 with Japanese voice-overs and English dubs. The film is a compilation of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2’s Shibuya Incident Arc with the first two episodes of Season 3, which premieres in January 2026 on Crunchyroll.
