Square Enix has launched a collaboration event between mobile RPG Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent and action RPG NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… on September 4. The collaboration will last until October 2.
During the NieR Replicant collaboration event, Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent players can summon 5-star characters like Nier, Emil, or Kainé. Players will get 10 free pulls with a guaranteed 5-star.
Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent is a free-to-play mobile game set in the universe of Octopath Traveler. Square Enix initially released the game in 2018. With over 64 characters at launch, players can explore an endless combination of characters to build your ultimate team. Pick the right team for the right fight and reign victorious on the battlefield. Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent is currently available on Android via Google Play Store and iOS via App Store.
On January 16, 2025, Square Enix transferred service operations for the Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent mobile game to NetEase Interactive Entertainment. Not to be confused with a shutdown in any particular region, the transfer means that NetEase took over game operations. All of the main story content was already planned for release for a considerable time before the transfer. What’s more, players were able to transfer their game data and continue their journey, with details how to do so being made available in the in-game notices.
