A new month brings a new calendar, and for September, Square Enix has released brand-new artwork of Clive Rosfield & Jill Warrick from Final Fantasy XVI. This artwork was illustrated by the game’s character designer, Kazuya Takahashi, and features the two staring off to the moon.
Square Enix’s official Final Fantasy X (formerly Twitter) account has downloads available for both the standalone artwork and a calendar version that features moogle icons for Final Fantasy events. You can check it out below:
Next year, Square Enix is finally set to release LOGOS: The World of Final Fantasy XVI, a tie-in book that is set to pack in hundreds of pages of Valisthea lore. It’s currently set to release in March 2026, and pre-orders are available now at the Square Enix Store.
Back in June 2023, we reviewed the game on PlayStation 5, writing, “XVI is a title deserving of any RPG fan’s time. I might have some things I felt the game could have done better, but the core experience here is incredible.” Later that year, we also interviewed members of Virtuos’ global studio network, who supported the game’s development.
Final Fantasy XVI is available now for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Naoki Yoshida teased earlier this year that a possible Nintendo Switch 2 port was being looked at.
