SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio announced the RGG Summit 2025 livestream will be held on Tuesday, September 23 at 8:00 p.m. PDT / 11:00 p.m. EDT on YouTube or Twitch. RGG Summit 2025 will feature new information and updates from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, and a new RGG Direct will air to delve deeper into the new announcements.

Yakuza Kiwami 2 is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on November 13. Alongside Yakuza Kiwami 2, Yakuza Kiwami will receive a Nintendo Switch 2 version with upgraded visuals and frame rates, and both games will support French, Italian, German, Spanish, LATAM Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Russian text.
Fans can also start the series with Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut for Nintendo Switch 2, which includes new never-before-seen story cutscenes. A new “Red Light Raid” online multiplayer mode will be available with 60 unlockable and playable characters. In this new mode, players can join their friends and take out hordes of enemies. Moreover, Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut runs at 4K 60 FPS on Nintendo Switch 2.
The latest chronological game in the series is Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii, which takes place six months after Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth. Waking up on an island without his memories, Goro Majima is saved by a young boy named Noah Rich and embarks on a new journey. Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio is developing the new action game Stranger Than Heaven, which was previously titled Project Century. Stranger Than Heaven was last showcased at Summer Game Fest 2025.
