Crunchyroll announced the TV anime adaptation of Suisei’s There was a Cute Girl in the Hero’s Party, so I Tried Confessing to Her light novel series will be streaming on the service. Yasutaka Yamamoto (Medalist) is the chief director of the There was a Cute Girl in the Hero’s Party, so I Tried Confessing to Her anime at animation studio Gekkou (My One-Hit Kill Sister; A Nobody’s Way Up to an Exploration Hero). Tomonori Mine (Isekai Onsen Paradise) is the director, Yukie Sugawara (OVERLORD Seasons 1-4) is writing and overseeing the series scripts, and Mina Ōsawa is the animation character designer.
What’s more, Satoru Kōsaki and MONACA are composing the music, and Ryō Aizawa is the producer at Starry Cube. Kairi, the author of the There was a Cute Girl in the Hero’s Party, so I Tried Confessing to Her manga, is credited for the original work of the anime. The cast includes Kōhei Amasaki as Yōki and Kana Hanazawa as Cecilia.
