The staff of the TV anime adaptation of Sou Akaike’s Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord: Production Magic Turns a Nameless Village into the Strongest Fortified City (Okiraku Ryōshu no Tanoshii Ryōchi Bōei) light novel series confirmed it will premiere in 2026. The main cast of the Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord anime was revealed as well.
The cast includes:

Akaike launched the Easygoing Territory Defense by the Optimistic Lord story on May 15, 2020 on the Shōsetsu ni Narō website. Moreover, Overlap Bunko began to publish the light novel series with illustrations by Kururi in September 2021. The eighth volume will release on August 25.
Maro Aoiro launched the novel on Overlap’s Comic Gardo website in August 2021, and the manga’s seventh volume will release on April 25 in Japan. Lastly, Seven Seas Entertainment publishes the manga in English and describes the story as follows:
