The Pokémon Company has teased a special YouTube premiere for Pokémon Legends: Z-A on August 21 at 6:00 a.m. PDT / 9:00 a.m. EDT with “viewer discretion advised.” This ominous tease for the Pokémon Legends Z-A premiere could be for a new Mega Evolution or Pokémon, as it appears to show a Pokémon researcher’s hand on a damaged gate.
Previously, The Pokémon Company released a new trailer for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, confirming that the new Z-A Battle Club will feature online battles with up to four players. Players can battle Pokémon in Z-A Battle Club in three-minute matches where the player with the most defeats claims victory. Moreover, there will be Ranked Matches and Private Matches in Pokémon Legends: Z-A Link Battle.
In addition, a playable demo of Pokémon Legends: Z-A will be available at Gamescom 2025, which will be held in Cologne, Germany from August 20 to August 24. Gamescom 2025 is one of the first events to offer a hands-on demo of Pokémon Legends: Z-A before the game is released to the public.
