Aniplex, JOYCITY, and Capcom released a new cinematic trailer for real-time strategy game Resident Evil: Survival Unit, confirming that Japanese rock band QUEEN BEE is performing the theme song “Mountain Hunt.” The trailer was produced by Quebico, the studio behind the full 3DCG animation Resident Evil: Death Island.
The cinematic trailer highlights many iconic characters from the Resident Evil series, along with gameplay and visuals. “Mountain Hunt” by QUEEN BEE plays during the Resident Evil: Survival Unit trailer with vocals by Avu-chan. As described by Aniplex, the song portrays the tension between creatures and characters as players seek survival.
“I’m thrilled that our intense love song ‘Mountain Hunt’ was chosen for this exciting collaboration,” said Avu-chan from QUEEN BEE. “The rapid-fire pacing and dynamic progression – ending with a bold ‘Next!’ I hope you enjoy every moment!”

The band is known for their distinctive vocals and sounds, and they continue to perform across Japan and abroad. This August, QUEEN BEE is going on an international tour across Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Taipei.
Resident Evil: Survival Unit will launch in 2025 globally on Android via Google Play Store and iOS via App Store. For meeting 1 million pre-registrations, all Resident Evil: Survival Unit players will receive several rewards at launch, including Advanced Flare Gun, 200K Rewards Package. Speedup (5min), 1,000 Gems, Base Skin (7 Days), and Special Flare Gun.
