The staff of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime series have announced the “Jujutsu Kaisen Anime 5th Anniversary Special Program” will be held on August 31 at 20:30 JST / 7:30 a.m. EDT on YouTube. A new Jujutsu Kaisen anime 5th anniversary visual was revealed, and news on Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 is expected to arrive during the program.
According to the anime’s official X (Twitter) account, the Jujutsu Kaisen Anime 5th Anniversary Special Program will feature “five major pieces of information.” The cast of the program includes Junya Enoki (voice of Yuji Itadori), Yuma Uchida (voice of Megumi Fushiguro), and Asami Seto (voice of Nobara Kugisaki).
GKIDS previously screened the Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Hidden Inventory / Premature Death compilation film on July 16 in US theaters. Crunchyroll screened the compilation film internationally in select territories. Tatsuya Kitani performed an acoustic arrangement of the arc’s opening theme song “Ao no Sumika (Where Our Blue Is).” Moreover, the compilation film featureed a new mini anime titled “Juju Stroll.”
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 – Shibuya Incident Arc is complete, with all episodes now available to stream on Crunchyroll. All 24 episodes of the first season and the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie are available to stream on the service as well. Moreover, Jujutsu Kaisen Culling Game, the third season of the anime, is currently in the works. Studio MAPPA will return to animate the third season.
Gege Akutami launched the Jujutsu Kaisen manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018, and 30 volumes have been published. The final volume had 16 pages of additional content with four epilogues that focusing on Yūko Ozawa, Uraume, Nobara Kugisaki, and Panda. VIZ Media distributes the manga digitally and physically in the west, and Shueisha also publishes the manga on Manga Plus.
