Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Anime Web Domain Registered by Kadokawa

Kadokawa has recently registered a web domain for an anime adaptation of From Software’s Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. The soulslike initially released in 2019. 

Kadokawa registered the domain, available to see via the EuroDNS website, on July 31. Recently, it updated the domain on August 5. Currently, the company has not yet officially announced the anime or its potential premiere date and staff. However, with the domain now being active, it is likely only a matter of time before Kadokawa officially announces the project. 

Recently, Sony that they will become the largest shareholder of Kadokawa in January 7. Specifically, Sony as a shareholder will have a 10% stake of Kadokawa, with 12,054,100 shares. Kadokawa has produced several anime franchises and also owns the video game company behind Sekiro, From Software.
