Electronic Arts released an official deep dive video for EA Sports FC 26, revealing new details about features and updates for the returning Football Ultimate Team mode. Ultimate Team benefits from various improvements made to the overall gameplay systems of EA Sports FC 26, as detailed with the Career and Clubs deep dives.
EA Sports FC 26 Ultimate Team features its own gameplay tuning with a focus on greater control, consistency, and responsiveness. Moreover, players can dive into Live Events with dynamic match types and entry requirements. There will also be classic Tournaments and an all-new Gauntlet mode, along with revamped Rivals and Champs. Players no longer need to worry about Playoffs and direct qualification for Champions.
Ultimate Team also benefits from enhanced customization and progression systems. Players can evolve their goalkeepers, stack cosmetic upgrades, and take advantage of repeatable Evolutions. EA Sports FC 26 launches September 26 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Amazon Luna. On September 19, a 10-hour early access trial will be available for EA Play members, along with extra rewards like monthly Ultimate Team Draft Tokens, seasonal club rewards, and 10% off EA digital content including pre-orders, game downloads, FC Points, and DLC.
