8BitDo has revealed its new 8BitDo Retro R8 Mouse – N Edition, which is inspired by the classic design of the Nintendo Entertainment System. The 8BitDo Retro R8 Mouse – N Edition is now shipping in the US and Europe for an MSRP of $49.99 / €49.99 / £44.99 at the 8BitDo shop and retailers like Amazon.
The new 8BitDo Retro R8 Mouse complements the previously released Retro 87 Mechanical Keyboard and its signature design. This new mouse comes packaged with a multifunctional charging dock, which lets charge the mouse and/or display it since the dock can act as a stylish stand for it. Moreover, the charging dock serves as an extension of the wireless adaptor for uninterrupted connectivity.
The 8BitDo Retro R8 Mouse features four programmable side buttons, which let players tailor their control scheme for additional functionality. What’s more, the mouse features Kailh Sword GM X Micro Switches that are engineered for durability up to 100 million clicks. There’s also six sensitivity levels from 50 to 26,000 DPI, ensuring precise tracking for gaming, productivity, and casual browsing.
Lastly, the new mouse is compatible with 8BitDo Ultimate Software V2. The software offers additional customization for the mouse, including the ability to remap buttons for the mouse, create custom macros, fine-tune the performance, and tailor the DPI settings.
