HoYoverse announced Honkai: Star Rail Version 3.5 “Before Their Deaths” will launch on August 13. The Version 3.5 update kicks off the second half of the Amphoreus story in Honkai: Star Rail, and players will meet new companions, battle against new enemies, reunite with old friends, and take part in new limited-time events.
In the new Trailblaze Mission, the Trailblazer will accompany Cyrene into a new cycle of Eternal Recurrence, traveling back a thousand years to ancient Okhema. This was an age where Imperator Cerydra, Aglaea’s predecessor, still sat upon the throne of Okhema.
What’s more, Hysilens, commander of the holy city’s knights, will make her debut as a new 5-star Physical-Type character following the Path of Nihility. She excels when paired with characters who special in DoT, since Hysilen’s Ultimate creates a zone that triggers additional damage and ATK/DEF debuffs on enemies.
Cerydra makes her playable debut as a 5-star Wind-Type character following the Path of Harmony. In combat, he Skill grants a special upgradable buff called Military Merit, which increases the ally’s ATK and dealing additional DMG. As it levels up, allies gain increased CRIT DAM and All-Type RES PEN. Her Ultimate also deals damage to all enemies and grants Charge for herself.
Moreover, limited 5-star characters Stellaron Hunter Kafka and Silver Wolf will return in the first and second phases of the Version 3.5 Warp Event. Players can also expect a brand-new map called Styxia, the new Chrysos Maze Grand Restaurant event, the Old Brews & New Friends event, and a new voice toggle feature for collaboration characters, allowing players to switch between the in-game dub and original licensed voice actors.
Lastly, Honkai: Star Rail is available now for Android via Google Play Store, iOS via App Store, PlayStation 5, and PC via Epic Games Store.
