The Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 Digital Deluxe Edition is now available, meaning owners now have early access to the game, excluding Nintendo Switch. Fans can also look forward to post-launch content with the Infinity Castle Arc Character Pass and a free update featuring Muzan Kibutsuji as a playable character in VS Mode.
Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 launches August 5 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam for $59.99. Digital pre-orders include two bonus unlock keys for Muichiro Tokito and Mitsuri Kanroji, along with two Kimetsu Academy unlock keys for Kyojuro Rengoku and Tengen Uzui. Physical pre-orders include the Muichiro and Mitsuri unlock keys while supplies last.
The Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles 2 Digital Deluxe Edition ($69.99) features all four aforementioned unlock keys, a VS Mode System Voice: Upper Rank Demons Set (Akaza, Daki, Gyutaro, Gyokko, and Zohakuten), three battle attire costumes (Tanjiro Kamado’s Entertainment District, Inosuke Hashibira’s Entertainment District Kimono, and Tengen Uzui’s Shinobi Attire), and four unlock keys for Tengen Uzui, Obanai Iguro, Sanemi Shinazugawa, and Gyomei Himejima.
The new Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- Infinity Castle – Akaza Returns film will come to the US and Canada on September 12, and tickets will be available on August 15. Haruo Sotozaki returns as director of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle. In addition, Akira Matsushima is the anime film’s character designer and chief animation director at studio ufotable. Aimer performs the theme song “Taiyō ga Noboranai Sekai (A World Where the Sun Never Rises),” while LiSA performs the song “Zankoku no Yoru ni Kagayake (Shine in the Cruel Night).”
