Mediatonic has released a new update which uncaps the framerate of Fall Guys on Nintendo Switch 2, allowing it to go up to 60 FPS. A new event, titled Tropical Tides, is also now live.
In a new set of patch notes released via the official Fall Guys Reddit, Mediatonic said the following: “We have uncapped FPS on Nintendo Switch 2, allowing the game to run on up to 60 FPS on that platform.” The update is now available for Nintendo Switch 2. The Tropical Tides event is also available for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. It will continue until September 15. It will feature summer-themed costumes, new updates to creative mode, Unranked Knockout, and more.
Fall Guys initially released in August 2020 as a paid release. It would go free-to-play in 2022 and collaborated with properties such as Death Stranding, Godzilla, Final Fantasy XIV, Street Fighter, and more. The Epic Games Store describes it as follows:
