STEINS;GATE 15th Anniversary POPUP Exhibition Opens in Akihabara

MAGES. has opened its STEINS;GATE 15th Anniversary POPUP Exhibition at the Akihabara Don Quijote store in Japan. The exhibition celebrates the 15th anniversary of STEINS;GATE and commemorates STEINS;GATE Day on July 28, which is the date the game’s story started from.

STEINS;GATE 15th Anniversary POPUP Exhibition includes a replica of the infamous time machine, along with original artwork and exclusive merchandise. The merchandise will also be available online at the official website, and fans outside Japan can purchase items through Buyee.

While inside, pre-recorded voice lines from Asami Imai, the Japanese voice of Kurisu, will offer fans guidance at the exhibition, which will be open until August 31. However, entry will be restricted via numbered ticket system until August 3. 

MAGES. is currently developing STEINS;GATE RE:BOOT, a remake with new story elements and graphics. Platforms for the title were not announced yet, but it’s slated to release in 2025 in Japan. According to studio director Makoto Asada, MAGES. plans to make various announcements this year as well. 

Asada said, “While there are still many unannounced projects that are currently in the works, we expect to announce many exciting developments this year. We hope you’ll continue to support MAGES.!”

Asada continued, “In recent years, I’ve been co-developing titles with other companies, but in 2025, I believe I’ll finally be able to release and announce several projects that I’ve personally had a hand on.”
