Square Enix announced a collaboration event will be held between Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis and Dragon Quest Tact will be held starting July 30. The event will feature a new collaboration story featuring characters from Dragon Quest Tact, and players can expect new gear as well for select Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis characters.
In the new collaboration event, Cloud will receive Erdrick’s Armour and Sword, and Aerith will receive the Supreme Sage Garb and Supreme Sage’s Staff. What’s more, Banesword Sephiroth will appear as a new boss. Further, players can complete crossover missions to get Red XIII’s Gear, Great Sabrecat.
Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is developed by Applibot, Inc. and published by Square Enix. In combat, players utilize different attacks that take time to recharge, similar to the original Final Fantasy VII. The game receives story chapters, new events, and updates on a near-monthly basis.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth are available now for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. According to Naoki Hamaguchi, the power of Nintendo Switch 2 allows Square Enix to “recreate Midgar with full specs,” making the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy possible on the platform.
