Toby Fox has revealed that a website featuring a survey dedicated to the upcoming 10th anniversary of Undertale. The 10th anniversary website asks players “How did Undertale impact you?”

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Fox said the following: “Hello. It’s almost been 10 years since UNDERTALE released. Now, I’m looking for your memories. Let’s turn back together. Face the flower and speak.” He later follows the initial post with two more, which state “It would be great if you could submit within 24 hours,” and “There are so many submissions, the site is having trouble… If your submission is stuck on ‘Submitting’, please try sending it again later. Your submission should be auto-saved in your browser.”

The website itself features an image of an echo flower, which, in the original game, repeats the memories of those who speak into it. It says “About 10 years ago, UNDERTALE released. Turn back, face the flower and speak. Your memories will be recorded here.” Once you press continue, you are asked to enter your name or handle, share how the game has impacted you in 180 words, then submit an avatar. The avatar can either be taken from a pre-existing sprite from Undertale or made from scratch. At the time of writing, Fox has not yet confirmed what the survey results will be used for.

Undertale initially released for PC and Mac in 2015. It would later release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in the following years. Chapter 1-4 of its parallel story, Deltarune, are available now for $24.99 on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation, PC, and Mac. Chapters 5-7 will release at a later date.
