During San Diego Comic-Con 2025, Bandai Namco Filmworks announced a special Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans 10th Anniversary project. The project will reunite key staff members from the original series, including director Tatsuyuki Nagai and the main cast members of Mobile Suit Gundam Iron‐Blooded Orphans Urðr‐Hunt such as Rina Ikoma.
A theatrical release of a Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urðr‐Hunt -Path of the little Challenger- compilation film is part of the new 10th anniversary project. The film is a reformatted and re-edited version of all 12 episodes originally distributed via the Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans G smartphone app.
Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urðr‐Hunt -Path of the little Challenger- will release in theaters across Japan on Friday, October 31. The special compilation film is also planned for release in North America.
