During San Diego Comic-Con 2025, Bandai Namco Filmworks announced Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway The Sorcery of Nymph Circe will receive a theatrical release in both North America and Japan. The new film will arrive in theaters across Japan this winter, and more details about the North America release will be revealed at a later date.
Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway The Sorcery of Nymph Circe is the sequel to the original Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway film, which was released in Japanese theaters in June 2021. At the time, the film garnered garnered widespread attention for its stunning visuals and cinematic quality.
In addition, Bandai Namco Filmworks announced a special Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans 10th Anniversary project. The project will reunite key staff members from the original series, including director Tatsuyuki Nagai and the main cast members of Mobile Suit Gundam Iron‐Blooded Orphans Urðr‐Hunt such as Rina Ikoma.
A theatrical release of a Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urðr‐Hunt -Path of the little Challenger- compilation film is part of the new 10th anniversary project. The film is a reformatted and re-edited version of all 12 episodes originally distributed via the Mobile Suit Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans G smartphone app.
