Crunchyroll announced the English dub of the Watari-kun’s ***** is About to Collapse anime series will premiere on July 18, and the cast and crew for the first episode were announced.

Watari-kun’s ***** is About to Collapse premiered on July 4 on Tokyo MX, BS NTV, and other channels in Japan. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as it airs in Japan.

Yuika performs the opening theme song “Yuurei ni Naritai (I Want to be a Ghost).” Pedro performs the ending theme song “Ai Ai Ai Ai Ai (Love Love Love Love Love).”

Takashi Naoya directs the anime at Staple Entertainment, and Matsuo Asami is the assistant director. Tatsuya Takahashi is in charge of the series scripts alongside scriptwriter Tetsuya Yamada. Shōko Yasuda is the character designer, and she’s a co-chief animation director alongside Yukiyo Komito and Taeko Ōgi. Nonoka Suzuki is designing the costumes, and Chie Yamazaki is designing the props. 

Narumi’s Watari-kun’s ***** is About to Collapse manga launched in August 2014 in Kadokawa’s Young Ace magazine, before moving its serialization to Monthly Young Magazine in November 2015. The manga ended with the 16th and final volume released in November 2023.
