The official MAGES. X (formerly Twitter) account that Mystereet: Yasogami Kaoru no Chousen! will finally be releasing as a digital-only game on PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch on July 31, 2025. A PC (Steam) version is also planned for an unknown later release date.
To celebrate the occasion, a launch sale will be held, offering the game at a discounted price from July 31 to August 27. The Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 versions will cost 1,990 yen, while the Xbox Series X|S version will cost 1,485 yen. Pricing for the Steam version was not announced yet.
Mystereet: Yasogami Kaoru no Chousen! is a port of Mystereet ~Fukagyaku Sekai no Tantei Shinshi~, a visual novel originally released for PC in 2004. Players take on the role of the titular Yasogami Kaoru, the youngest class A detective in IDLA, an international detective organization, and solve difficult cases that baffle even veteran policemen. Although the game is split into episodes, the plot lines are interconnected and the web of relationships is so intricate that it is a real challenge to find the culprit and his or her motives.
