Razer announced the launch of its all new Razer Thunderbolt 5 Dock and Razer Core X V2 external graphics enclosure. These new products aim to elevate PC connectivity and eGPU capabilities with better bandwidth, display options, and modular flexibility.

Starting at $389.99, the Razer Thunderbolt 5 Dock offers support for triple 4K displays at 120Hz, ultra-fast and efficient data transfer, and and up to 8 TB of integrated storage for rapid file access, making it an incredible hub for creative professionals and gamers alike. This is thanks in part to the impressive Thunderbolt 5 cable with its 11-in-1 connectivity, which also minimizes cable clutter. The dock’s port selection and Thunderbolt Share functionality also make it essential for multi-device workflows. Moreover, the included 250W power adapter can deliver up to 140W to connected laptops in order to support the most powerful mobile systems.

Starting at $349.99, the Core X V2 is Razer’s next-generation eGPU enclosure to deliver desktop-class performance to Thunderbolt 4, Thunderbolt 5 and select USB4 gaming laptops, handhelds, and other compatible devices. This is a plug-and-play upgrade that turns portable laptops into high-performance gaming and workflow systems. It supports full-sized PCIe NVIDIA GeForce or AMD Radeon graphics cards and standard ATX power supplies. Installation is quick and easy, and the ventilated steel chassis and 120 mm fan ensure there’s an airflow path as well. The Razer Synapse software lets users set a custom fan curve tuning to optimize cooling and acoustics on the Core X V2’s included fan.

Lastly, Thunderbolt 5 offers impressive peak transfer speeds of up to 120Gb/s, which is nearly 12 times faster than USB 3.0. This technology enables seamless operation of high-performance peripherals, storage, and multiple 4K displays, along with the ability to daisy-chain other Thunderbolt devices.
