Bandai and Toei Animation announced two main cast members for the upcoming Digimon Beatbreak anime, which premieres in October 2025. In Digimon Beatbreak, Miyu Irino joins the cast as protagonist and high school student Tomorō Tenma, and Megumi Han plays partner Digimon Gekkomon.
Bandai Namco announced Digimon Alysion for Android and iOS during Digimon Con 2025. A closed beta test for Digimon Alysion will be held in the near future, allowing players to try out the game before its official global launch. Digimon Alysion will feature digital versions of Digimon Card Game cards called “DigiAly.” The game will also feature an original cast of characters with their own teammate Digimon. While waiting for more details, fans can visit and bookmark the game’s teaser website.
Fans can also look forward to Digimon Story: Time Stranger, releasing on October 3 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam with Japanese and English voice overs. In Digimon Story Time Stranger, players will explore the deep bond between people in the human world and Digimon from the Digital World: Iliad. Digimon may be tamed, recruited, and trained for your cause. Players must work together and evolve their Digimon’s abilities in order to seek the truth behind a mystery and save both worlds.
The previous installment in the Digimon anime franchise is the Digimon Adventure 02 The Beginning film, which premiered on November 8, 2023 in US theaters. The film is set in February 2012, shortly after the events of the Digimon Adventure tri. anime and the Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna anime film. Protagonist Daisuke Motomiya and friends returned from the original Digimon Adventure 02 anime.
