Please keep in mind that patch 2.03 is the last large-scale balance update of the year.
Also, fans can expect two more characters to arrive this year in autumn and winter, with an extra stage arriving in winter. The character arriving in autumn will be a returning character, and the winter character will be a new challenger.
The developers are aware that certain added moves and adjustments shifted too heavily toward offense in Season 2. As a result, they will be addressing issues in the following two stages:
- Resolving issues that can be addressed quickly
- Resolving issues that need to be reviewed over time based on fan feedback.
The overall goals with Season 2 are to improve the Heat System and improve controls to strengthen defensive techniques.
