The official website for the anime adaptation of Fujino Ōmori and Toshi Aoi’s Wistoria: Wand and Sword (Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria) manga announced that the second season of the anime will air in 2026. Additionally, Toshi Aoi released a commemorative visual to celebrate the anime’s one-year anniversary.
Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 1 premiered in July 2024 and consisted of 12 episodes in total. Fans can watch the anime in both English and Japanese on Crunchyroll. The cast of the anime consists of:
- Kohei Amasaki as Will Serfort
- Akira Sekine as Elfaria Albis Serfort
- Satomi Amano as Colette Loire
- Lynn as Lihanna Owenzaus
- Aoi Inase as Kiki
- Masaaki Mizunaka as Sion Ulster
Tatsuya Yoshihara, known for his work on Chainsaw Man, directed the first season at Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures. Sayaka Ono handled the character design and was the chief animator. Raita Sunaga, Yoshirou Harada, and Ryou Akizuki were in charge of monster design. Hiroto Morishita served as the sound director at Jinnan Studio, while Yuki Hayashi composed the music at Lantis.
Kodansha USA Publishing releases the manga in English, and just released the ninth volume on May 27. Kodansha describe the series as follows:
