The Viz Media panel at Anime Expo 2025 unveiled the trailer and key visual for the upcoming anime adaptation of Shu Sakuratani’s Rooster Fighter manga. The trailer revealed the main cast of the Rooster Fighter anime and confirmed the 2026 release date.

Shu Sakuratani’s Rooster Fighter manga made its debut on Hero’s Inc.’s Comiplex back in December 2020. VIZ Media licensed the manga in English and describes the story as follows:
