‘Light-novel Anime’ Project Announced, Adapts Four Original Stories

A new website has announced a new “Light-novel Anime” project, which will adapt four light novels for release on YouTube. It will start as vertical anime made for smartphones, then transition into horizontal format that will air on TV. 

The following series will be adapted as part of the new project: Shōshin Time Leap, Femme Fatale Ikusei Keikaku, Jack the Reaper, Marie Antoinette ni Tensei Shita node, Zenryoku de Guillotine wo Kaihi Shimasu. The project will premiere on TV on July 12. The cast for each of the series include:

Part 1 and Part 2 of Shōshin Time Leap are available on YouTube Shorts. It is described as follows: “On her final Christmas in high school, Miri confesses to her classmate Takashi, but he rejects her. In her despair, she clings to a past diary. The diary envelops her in light, and Miri finds herself transported six months in the past. She uses this chance, and repeated time leaps, to try to change her future, and find out the reason why Takashi rejected her confession.”
