Publisher refint/games announced Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga will launch in summer 2025 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store in the west. refint/games is planning to release a physical edition of the game as well.
As previously announced Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga will feature 4K support on applicable platforms, 60 FPS support, couch and online multiplayer, and much more. The game is based on the Geofront translation, and fans can expect rollback netcode.

Currently, Falcom is developing Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC for a worldwide fall 2025 release. Falcom also confirmed that Ys X: Nordics is getting an enhanced re-release with new content, titled Ys X: Proud Nordics. Ys Memoire: Memories of Celceta is also available now on Nintendo Switch in Japan.
