Astrolabe Games has released its fall 2026 major update for BlazBlue Entropy Effect X featuring two new elite enemies Nine the Phantom and The Lost Gearhulk, alongside the new stage “Remains.” The Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions of the update will be released at a later date.
The latest BlazBlue Entropy Effect X update brings the Remains stage, which is actually buried deep the The Lost Gearhulk. This massive boss can swing its arms to deal crushing blows, while its missile bays can unleash dense barrages. Meanwhile, Nine the Phantom can cast individual element spells or combine different elements to unleash powerful spells. She can also summon powerful familiars.
BlazBlue Entropy Effect X is available now for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The free update is out now featuring Platinum, an upgraded Training Space, new branching route options for each run, and more. As previously announced, a paid Upgrade Pack ($1.99) is available for players who already own the Switch version.
BlazBlue Entropy Effect X features thousands of newly recorded voice lines from the returning fan-favorite voice actors for the series, along with new and original characters.
