GameStop confirmed that additional Nintendo Switch 2 units will be available at launch in-store and online. The retailer’s launch event begins in-store on June 4 at 3:00 p.m. local time with pickup starting on June 4 at 9:00 p.m. PDT / June 5 at 12:00 a.m. EDT.

Moreover, select GameStop stores will be handing out a free can of Red Bull (limit one per customer) to GameStop Pro members at the launch event. GameStop is also offering 40% extra trade credit on any video games traded toward Nintendo Switch 2 games and accessories until May 31.

Further, Nintendo has begun to send out emails for Nintendo Switch 2 purchase invitations from the My Nintendo Store, along with notices for those still in the queue to receive an invitation. It’s worth noting that users who receive Nintendo Switch 2 purchase invitations have 72 hours to make a purchase from the My Nintendo Store, and launch-day delivery is not guaranteed.

Nintendo Switch 2 will launch on June 5 for $449.99. A bundle will be available for $499.99 featuring Mario Kart World. Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 at Best Buy, Walmart and Target went live on April 24 and quickly sold out within just a few hours. However, Nintendo and other retailers will periodically replenish stock leading into launch. Other games like Cyberpunk 2077 and upgrade packs for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom will also be available.
