Nintendo published its earnings release for the quarter ending on March 31, 2025, revealing that the Nintendo Switch sales surpassed 152 million worldwide, at exactly 152.12 million. At over 152 million, the Nintendo Switch is the second best-selling home console of all time behind the PlayStation 2.
1.26 million Nintendo Switch hardware units were sold in the fourth quarter of fiscal year ending in March 2025. In addition, roughly 31.43 million software units were sold on Nintendo Switch in the same quarter. This brings the grand total of Nintendo Switch software units sold to 1.391 billion.
