The official website for the Koisuru One Piece spinoff anime short series revealed four new cast members ahead of the premiere. A new visual for the characters was also revealed.
The new cast members of Koisuru One Piece include (from left to right):

- Akari Kitō as Sato Yoshioka
- Akira Ishida as Biology Club President
- Megumi Han as Tsuchi
- Takehito Koyasu as Toriko Kurono
The Koisuru One Piece anime shorts will stream daily from April 1 to 5 at 8:00 p.m. JST / 7:00 a.m. EDT on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, leading into the premiere of One Piece episode 1123.
The cast also includes:
- Ryōsuke Kanemoto as Luffy Yamamoto
- Ayane Sakura as Nami Koyama
- Yūichi Nakamura as Usopp Nakatsugawa
Miki Kobayashi is the producer of the anime, and the series directors are Yū Kamatani and Hazuki Omoya. Hanao Iida is the character designer, Midori Tanaka is the art director, Emi Nakajima is the color designer, and Kōsuke Ōhori is the director of photography. Ayaka Shiraishi oversees the production.
Daiki Ihara launched Koisuru One Piece on the Shonen Jump+ service in June 2018 and ran for three years before serialization was suspended in November 2021. The manga’s ninth volume shipped in April 2022.
Crunchyroll will stream the first two episodes of One Piece Egghead Arc Part 2 on April 5 and April 6, with One Piece episode 1123 airing on April 5 and episode 1124 airing on April 6. Moreover, Crunchyroll will stream the “83-Minute Egghead Arc Part-1 Recap Special” on April 5.
The One Piece anime will air on a new evening timeslot, with new episodes will premiere at 11:15 p.m. JST on Saturdays on Fuji TV and affiliate channels. With Kazuki Yao’s retirement, Subaru Kimura will be taking over the role of Franky in the One Piece anime.
