Milan Records have released the new track “To The Wilder” by acclaimed artist Woodkid, which is the lead single for Death Stranding 2: On The Beach. “To The Wilder” is the first track to be released as part of an ongoing collaboration between Woodkid and Kojima Productions for Death Stranding 2: On The Beach.
Moreover, Woodkid will release an album of original music written for Death Stranding 2: On The Beach. In the meantime, fans can listen to “To The Wilder” on various streaming services, including Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.
During the game’s official SXSW 2025 panel, Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions revealed that Death Stranding 2: On The Beach will release on June 26, 2025 for PlayStation 5 exclusively. Pre-orders for Death Stranding 2: On The Beach will open on March 17 at 10:00 a.m. local time. Standard and Collector’s Edition copies will be available.

Death Stranding was first released as a PlayStation 4 exclusive in 2019, and it was later released on PlayStation 5 and PC as Death Stranding: Director’s Cut. The game featured Norman Reedus as Sam Porter Bridges, a delivery man who must travel across a broken America and reunite it. In our review of the PC release, we stated the game creates “an experience like nothing else on the market that is fresh and extremely thought provoking.”
