Kojima Productions and PlayStation announced Norman Reedus, Troy Baker, and Woodkid will be special guests for Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding 2: On The Beach Special Panel at SXSW 2025 in Austin, Texas. The panel will be held in Ballroom D SXSW on March 9 at 4:00 p.m. CDT.
During the SXSW 2025 panel, Hideo Kojima will discuss and share new details about Death Stranding 2: On The Beach for PlayStation 5. In addition, a Kojima Productions pop-up shop will be on site at SXSW 2025 with exclusive merchandise.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach will release in 2025 for PlayStation 5. On February 5, Hideo Kojima revealed that he’s in the editing booth for the first time in over a year to work on a new trailer. On Twitter/X, one of the few images of a new trailer that Kojima shared includes the iconic “A Hideo Kojima Game” tagline.
The new trailer could potentially air during State of Play on February 12. The State of Play broadcast will air on PlayStation’s official YouTube and Twitch channels in English and Japanese. It’s expected to feature major third-party games. Lastly, rumors and speculation indicate that the release date for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will be confirmed at the showcase.
