SEGA revealed multiple updates for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis launching through the month of March 2025, including the 5th anniversary celebration. In addition, a new collaboration between Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis and NIJISANJI was announced.
The 5th anniversary of Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is being celebrated with a 100% Rare Drop Rate boost, special weekly gifts, and Spring ’25 Special Scratch Tickets through April 1. From March 5-18, the Big Bang Scratch Ticket (Silver) will be added to the Scratch Count Bonus as well. Starting March 19, players may play Limited-time Quests to get Star Gems, items to sell for N-Meseta, and Big Bang Scratch Tickets (Silver).
Moreover, the Limited-time Event Spring ’25 blooms on March 5. During the event, Central City is covered in spring decorations, Region Mags will have seasonal attire, and the Seasonal Points Exchange Shop is back. Hululu Rappies, Emperappies, and Great Rappies will also appear in the wild.
A revamped version of Limited-time Quest: Flurry of Flowers Clean-up Op ’25 will be available with new enemies, updated Trials, and improved mechanics. Completing this quest during the campaign period awards Treasure Scratch 8 Tickets. On March 11, several items from the original Phantasy Star Online 2 return, including eyes, eyelashes, makeup, Body Paints, and more in the Revival AC Scratch Ticket: Multi Remix Line.
In mid-April 2025, Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis will collaborate with NIJISANJI in a new update. An AC Scratch Ticket will be available with avatar items and more based on Livers Ars Almal, Debidebi Debiru, Nui Sociere, and Mikoto Rindou.
