    Jelly Troops Switch Version and Playtest Announced

    The game will be showcased at TOKYO INDIE GAMES SUMMIT 2025.

    Phoenixx and Nukenin announced pick-up-and-play real-time strategy game Jelly Troops is coming to Nintendo Switch alongside PC via Steam in 2025. A Jelly Troops playtest will be available starting March 6 at 5:00 p.m. PST / 8:00 p.m. EST. 

    In addition to the Switch version’s announcement, the official Jelly Troops tournament during TOKYO INDIE GAMES SUMMIT 2025, and fans who join the game’s Discord and predict the winner before March 8 at 7:45 p.m. PST / 10:45 p.m. EST have a chance to win a Steam gift card. The tournament will feature guest appearances, including Jelly Troops developer waken, eSports commentator Shohei Taguchi, voice actress Yuu Shinohara, and streaming group Indie Life Streamers.

    Jelly Troops‘ development process continues on a firm foundation of community feedback,” said waken. “Previous playtests have informed development, and the next iteration is ready for another feedback gauntlet. Please try out the latest version on Steam. We also look forward to further testing with attendees at TOKYO INDIE GAMES SUMMIT!”

    Fight exciting battles where you recruit golems to battle your opponent’s slimes, cleverly redirect their slimes with walls, or sneakily steal their flag to make a dramatic comeback.

    Unlike traditional RTS games, Jelly Troops doesn’t have complex units or resource management, so anyone can pick it up and play. Every battle is different. Should you get more slimes, capture the flag, or send your guardians to punish your opponent? It’s up to you!
