Aniplex revealed a new promotional video for the Black Butler: Emerald Witch Arc anime, confirming the anime’s April 5 premiere and revealing a new key visual. Crunchyroll will stream Black Butler: Emerald Witch Arc, and several TV networks and the ABEMA streaming service will air the anime in Japan.

In addition, the cast of Black Butler: Emerald Witch Arc will appear at the AnimeJapan 2025 Green Stage on March 23 at 11:35 a.m. JST.
Cö shu Nie and HYDE will perform the opening theme song “Maisie.” Ryūgūjō will perform the ending theme song “Waltz,” featuring lyrics and composition by Queen Bee’s Avu-chan.
Black Butler: Public School Arc director Kenjiro Okada returns to direct the new anime at CloverWorks. Hiroyuki Yoshino is in charge of series composition, while Yumi Shimizu is handling character designs.
Daisuke Ono and Maaya Sakamoto reprise their roles as Sebastian Michaelis and Ciel Phantomhive respectively. They’re joined by Chikahiro Kobayashi as Wolfram Gelzer and Rie Kugimiya as Sieglinde Sullivan.
Yana Toboso’s Black Butler manga series began in 2006, and more than 30 volumes have been released to date. The 34th volume released on April 26, 2024.
