Aniplex announced the first film in the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle trilogy will premiere on July 18 in Japan. It will play on 443 screens through Japan, setting a new record for the franchise.
Aniplex plans to bring the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle film trilogy to over 150 countries and regions, with the help of Crunchyroll. In Japan, advance tickets will be available in the form of MoviTicke Cards starting March 7. Seven more MoviTicke Cards featuring key visuals will go on sale starting April 4.
The previous 12 films, including compilations, will air in theaters from April 4 to July 3 to help fans catch up on the Demon Slayer franchise. A 4K version of the Mugen Train film will play from May 9 to June 12 in 423 theaters featuring behind-the-scenes footage of Infinity Castle.
