The official website for the new Princession Orchestra original anime announced that the series will premiere on April 6 at 9:00 a.m. JST on TV Tokyo and affiliate channels. The series will air in four cours, or parts, throughout four quarters of a year.
The musical unit Orcheria will perform the opening theme song “Zettai Utahime Sengen!” (I Declare Myself a Total Diva!).

The anime takes place in Alicepia—a mysterious country with a history dating back to ancient times. The inhabitants of Alicepia, the Alicepians, are a people that love fun. However, mysterious monsters called Jamaock appeared one day to threaten the peace of Alicepia. The story follows the “princesses” who never forget the song in their hearts, even when facing such danger.
In comparison to other anime projects that insert pre-recorded songs into battle sequences, this anime has the voice cast members sing new renditions of songs in each episode’s recording sessions.
