Devil May Cry Animated Series Reveals a New English Clip

During IGN Fan Fest 2025, Netflix released a new English clip for the upcoming Devil May Cry animated series to give fans a sneak peek before the April 3 premiere. 

Limp Bizkit’s “Rollin'” will serve as the opening theme song. Studio Mir and Adi Shankar will produce the eight-episode series, which highlights Dante, Vergil, and Lady. Johnny Yong Bosch, the voice of Nero in the Devil May Cry series, will voice Dante in the animated series. 

Alongside the new clip for Devil May Cry, an interview with Shankar and Bosch was published on IGN’s YouTube channel. You can watch the new videos below:

Capcom released the first Devil May Cry game in 2001 for the PlayStation 2. The game started as a prototype version of Resident Evil 4 before evolving into its own franchise. To date, Capcom has released five entries in the series. Adi Shankar first teased the anime in 2018, around the same time Devil May Cry 5 launched.

The entire Devil May Cry series is available on most modern consoles. This includes Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2, Devil May Cry 3, Devil May Cry 4, and the most recent entry, Devil May Cry 5. Five is available now on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The upcoming anime series adapting the Devil May Cry franchise will premiere on Netflix on April 3, 2025.
