The closed beta test for anime-style mobile RPG Duet Night Abyss is now available until February 28 at 5:00 p.m. (UTC+8) on Android, iOS, and PC with cross-play. During the Duet Night Abyss closed beta test, players may experience new characters with dedicated storylines and voice acting in English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese.
Following the technical test, the developers of Duet Night Abyss made great strides to optimize game environments, improve character models, and refine the combat system. Highly customizable features, such as weapon coloring and attack combinations, were fine-tuned to give players more freedom. Melee and ranged weapons may be crafted, and there’s a number of character accessories that may be personalized.
In addition, the closed beta test lets players test out the new co-op mode, roguelike mechanics, and a pet system. The co-op mode lets players team up with up to three friends. Fina, Hellfire, Randy, Margie, Yale and Oliver, and Sibylle were introduced as new characters, and the pet system brings loyal companions that provide support during battles.
The new roguelike gameplay mode operates independently of the game’s standard progression. A variety of random buffs can bring diverse effects and enhancements. Players can select different buffs after each battle and encounter random events during exploration. Buffs can be freely combined, the roguelike elements ensure the mode offers a fresh experience with each session.
